Job Description:

InAlliance is a community based non-profit, social service organization serving adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury. Our goal is to help adults learn to live more independent lives.

We support adults with developmental disabilities by teaching living skills, training on home management skills and developing social skills.

We are searching for great staff to join our dedicated team of Independent Living Facilitators. If you have a passion for teaching new things and helping others this may be the opportunity for you.

Strong BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT SKILLS a HUGE PLUS!

We are searching for the right staffing match for women and men with developmental disabilities. If you have many years of successful, NON-VIOLENT, behavior management strategies use with people with developmental disabilities, we are looking for you!

Great OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS to work on the weekends!!

Shift Available: Part-time & Full-time

House #1 (Davis): Duties include but are not limited to: Meal prep, hygiene, housekeeping, medication administration, community activities, lifting (Hoyer), and transportation. Must have catheterization experience. We are looking for someone with good boundaries and a positive attitude.

House #1 Shift 1: 1st/3rd/5th Weekends Begin Friday 10:00pm -Sunday 10:00pm(Overnight shifts)

House #1 Shift 2: 2nd/4th Weekends Begin Friday 10:00pm -Sunday 10:00pm(Overnight shifts)

House #2 (Woodland): Duties include but are not limited to: Meal prep, housekeeping, medication administration, community activities, and transportation. Household has small dog. Must be comfortable working in a household with animals. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude.

House #2 Shift 1: 2nd/4th/5th Weekends Begin Saturday 10:00am-Monday 8:00am (Overnight shifts)

House #3 (Davis): Duties include but are not limited to: Meal prep, housekeeping, medication administration, community activities, personal hygiene.

House #3 Shift 1 : Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm

Duties: (Include but are not limited to)

  • Household chores
  • Teaching new skills
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication Administration
  • Help with personal hygiene
  • Running errands
  • Going to new and fun places
  • Behavior Management

 

Experience and Skills:

Required for hire:

  • Must attend new hire training Monday - Wednesday 8am-5pm.
  • Your own vehicle (in good working condition)
  • Valid CA drivers license
  • Clean driving record (Less than 2 points)
  • Auto Insurance
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Safety Sensitive Position: Must be able to pass a drug screen (Our Drug-free Workplace policy includes marijuana. If you have a positive result for marijuana you will be precluded from employment)
  • Experience with Behavior Management
  • Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities
